General tips for event handlers

  • If possible, consider hosting your event online
  • If possible, consider hosting your event outside instead of indoors
  • Check the tempurature of all attendees before entering venue, ensure it is below 100.4˚F
  • Consider hiring more people to break apart large crowds and uphold social distancing standards
  • Make clearly marked spaces for people to sit or stand at, and provide physical guides to separate people
  • Provide personal sanitation equipment (hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes)
  • Ask persons of risk not to come
  • Stagger arrival times and departure if possible to limit crowding at enterances and exits
  • Provide relavant information to attendees in a simple and efficient way
